World Kiss Day.

Did you know that World Kiss Day exist? I didn`t. I read by chance  that this celebration takes place on 6 July.

There are days when you should abstain from eating garlic and have a supply of mints :)
The author of this idea  is probably one of the British companies selling dental products.

The kisses have a great power - they can express the whole range of feelings, from affection, by gratitude, love. Science dealing with this phenomenon is filematology. Kissing helps to alleviate stress and have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and contributes to lowering cholesterol.

Record for the longest kiss was established by the Thai pair in 2011 - Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat. The kiss lasted for 46 hours and 24 minutes.

Hi! how are you? I hope you are well :) Today I want to present you some information about bananas. I like them very well so I was curious why they are recommendend.

Bananas are an excellent source of many minerals and many vitamins..
They are also a source of energy. Their consumption is particularly recommended for people practicing sports because they increase strength and eliminate violent muscle cramps.

They have a positive impact on our mood. They contribute to the fight against depression.

Including bananas to your daily diet, you get rid of the problem with high blood pressure. Eating bananas alleviates anaemia and enhances blood circulation in the body.

These fruits have a positive impact on the appearance of our skin.

They stimulate the growth of friendly bacteria in the guts and they improve our digestion.

So let's eat bananas, I'm sure it will come good for us.

hey!
Last classes of literature we had the pleasure to discuss the classics of French literature- book entitled ''Notre-Dame de Paris'' by Victor Hugo . It is a beautiful book with a touching love story.  Three men love one woman. I do not want to reveal too many details  so as not to spoil the excitement aroused of this book.   You propably know that the Notre- Dame Cathedral is  one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture.  It is among the largest church buildings in the world.

This book is quite long, but if you do not have time to read it, watch though a great musical!
I recently watched it and I'm sure I will watch it again!
Beautiful timbres if voices, wonderful melodies, very talented actors, great scenery-  all of this things are presents!
The book and the musical are very touching. The plot is quite complicated but thanks to this we are curious how the situation develops. Both works are so absorbing, which is why I want to highly recommend  them.

This link shows my favorite tune from the musical.
do not worry if you do not know French - I found version with English subtitles;)

Hello. What are you doing in those long autumn evenings? Weather discourages us to leave the house so we have to find an interesting occupation. For example,  I watch films :)

Recently I found very gripping but sad movie entitled The Grey Zone. It`s an American drama war directed by Tim Blake Nelson. This movie presents Auschwitz-Birkenau in autumn 1944. The group of prisoners from the Sonderkommando, knowing what fate awaits them (after four months of work they will be killed and replaced by new prisoners) and realizing the rapid progress of the Red Army plans to stir up a revolt and escape from the camp.

I think that movie appeals to the imagination, like hardly anyone image on the reality of the camp. We see a shabby room in which reside and work the prisoners, naked bodies of the murdered Jews. We feel omnipresent fear prevailed behind barbed wire.

The Grey Zone shows the moral dilemmas. People are faced with the most dramatic choices..

I highly recommend this movie. It's a very touching picture of human suffering and humiliation.

ALL SAINTS` DAY

Today is celebrated on All Saints` Day. According to the Catholic Church it is "a celebration of those who are redeemed and enjoy eternal happiness in heaven." These include not only the canonized and blessed, but also saints nameless - the committed who will never be elevated to the altars, and the Church in a special way on this day wants to pay tribute. Millions of Poles go to visit the graves of their  relatives.
On 1 November people come to cemeteries to light candles and pray for the dead. It is also celebrated by some other confession. It is an expression of memory and respect for the dead.

Let us hurry to love people, they depart so quickly
