Hello. What are you doing in those long autumn evenings? Weather discourages us to leave the house so we have to find an interesting occupation. For example,  I watch films :)

Recently I found very gripping but sad movie entitled The Grey Zone. It`s an American drama war directed by Tim Blake Nelson. This movie presents Auschwitz-Birkenau in autumn 1944. The group of prisoners from the Sonderkommando, knowing what fate awaits them (after four months of work they will be killed and replaced by new prisoners) and realizing the rapid progress of the Red Army plans to stir up a revolt and escape from the camp.

I think that movie appeals to the imagination, like hardly anyone image on the reality of the camp. We see a shabby room in which reside and work the prisoners, naked bodies of the murdered Jews. We feel omnipresent fear prevailed behind barbed wire.

The Grey Zone shows the moral dilemmas. People are faced with the most dramatic choices..

I highly recommend this movie. It's a very touching picture of human suffering and humiliation.
