When we do our shopping we often don`t realize that we are manipulated.
The shops use some tricks , for example:

-         Supermarket trolley: the bigger the better. It seems empty very long so we buy more products.

-         Unforeseen and irregular promotions attach strongly to the product than the regular and unannounced promotions.

-         It is easy to seduce us smell. Spec marketers know this and use aromatics baits. Aroma of coffee or baked goods  is so common in shopping centers.

-         Music dictates the rate at which customers walk through the store (even those with no sense of rhythm). It can`t be too loud and fast, because the customer don`t entertain in it for long. It can`t be too slow, because they fall into apathy and they don`t buy any product.

-         Another trap waiting for consumer are tastings. Nicely dressed ladies walking around the store offer the latest taste of chocolate or yoghurt which is precisely on the promotion. Who would not tempted?

So, we must be careful. The shops use a lot of tricks to persuade the clients to purchasing.
